We hit it hard in 2022 and are thankful for the opportunities we were given to expand our company – and the resources to be able to pay it forward. Here is a snapshot of 2022 in the rearview:

People: Joe Keller took the helm early in the year and HEXA continued to expand. Our team grew, giving us the opportunity to add skillsets aimed at solving the issues most frustrating to building owners. We brought in an expert trainer in post-tension repairs to provide ongoing, specialized, skills training to help HEXA become the Colorado leader in post-tension repair work. Check out a video clip from the training here.

Capital: With a growing team, we needed more elbow room. In 2022 we designed, remodeled, and moved down the street to a new home base in Golden. This new space is uniquely HEXA, and we invite you to drop by and check it out! We’re also investing in new equipment to provide even more state-of-the-art service to you.

Community: Over our 23 years in business, Colorado has been our home. Giving back to the community that has supported us for decades is important to us, and we were excited to have had that opportunity last year. We worked with the fine people at Warren Village, providing the facility with much-needed concrete repair, and the children who live there with beanies, gloves, and boots.

Our year-end, “bad ass bike” tradition continued on, and one lucky employee got an awesome e-bike at our holiday party.

We expanded that same idea to local kids, and this January, we were honored to be able to purchase and deliver 18 bicycles with helmets to North Star Elementary School.

Customers: Relationships are at the heart of our business, and 2022 was a year that saw the start of new customer connections, and the continuation of many long-time ones with customers we’re happy to call good friends. Thank you for your continued business, your trust in us to meet your concrete needs, and for growing with us. As we move into this new year, we are committed to continue investing in areas that will make our services even better for you!

As we wrap up 2022, we’re grateful for the relationships we’ve started to develop with new customers, as well as ones that have grown throughout our decades in business.

Continuing the Badass Bike tradition we started last year, a lucky HEXA employee, Pablo Carmona-Ortiz, was chosen at random during our annual holiday party and received an Indian Motorcycle eFTR Hooligan 1.2 ebike! When Joe started this tradition last year, he committed that, as the company grew, so too would the bike that was being given away. True to his word, last year’s bike was a Coleman 200cc minibike, and this year’s is a little bigger and better!

As we’ve grown, we are particularly grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to give back to the community we serve. Since a strong and stable community is built on strong and stable families, we were excited to lend a hand to Warren Village – a nonprofit located in Denver. This amazing organization helps low-income, single-parent families achieve self-sufficiency – a mission that is right in line with our values. After getting their concrete winter-ready, we were pleased to provide 100 snow boots, and hats with gloves to the kids who live there, getting them winter-ready too! We consider ourselves fortunate to have had the opportunity to come alongside this exceptional organization and give a hand to support the great work they do.

Thank you for your trust and friendship. We hope that you and those you love had a Merry Christmas and wish you all the best in 2023!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at a great party on January 23, 2020. We’re so grateful for all of our friends who were able to join us.

A Solid History
Over the last 20 years, we’ve grown to one of the largest and most well respected locally owned and operated concrete repair companies in Colorado – and we owe that to all of our great customers and partners.  We are so thankful for the friendships that have built our company.

An Exciting Future
We’ve renamed our company to HEXA™ – A McDonald Company to mark the end of a successful 20 years and the beginning of a new phase in our growth. We’re the same great company, run by the same people, with the same values. Represented by the hexagon shape in our new logo, HEXA emphasizes that we are excellent, efficient, and strong under pressure.

Thank you for being a part of building our legacy and joining us in this exciting phase of growth!
